The HERoes Women Role Model Lists, supported by Yahoo Finance, showcase business leaders who are championing women in business and driving change to increase gender diversity in the workplace. Lists are published annually and showcase 100 Women Executives, 100 Women Future Leaders and 50 Advocate Executives. Each person was judged on the influence of their role, their impact on gender inclusion and equality inside and outside the workplace and their business achievements.

For the HERoes 100 Women Executives, the nominee’s seniority and influence was taken into consideration. They must be a woman and actively working to create an environment where women can comfortably bring their best professional selves to work. It was important that people were working towards this goal over and above their day job.

Future Leaders are high performing and high potential individuals but can be at various levels in their careers. A stronger emphasis was placed on their work towards gender inclusion rather than their seniority in the business.
