Day-Long Conference and 4-Day Exhibit Marketplace Spotlights Companies and Leaders at the Forefront of Fintech, Cryptocurrency, Blockchains
January 7-10, 2020 at CES Las Vegas

[Las Vegas, NV] – Bitcoin, Facebook’s Libra, Google Bank, Uber Money… oh my! With a boom in digital currency, technology is not only turning the financial world into a proving ground for innovation and rapidly changing the way people transact, but it is also challenging the very meaning of money. Focusing on the companies and leaders who’ve been at the forefront of fintech, blockchain and cryptocurrency advancements, Digital Money Forum at CES Las Vegas January 7-10, 2020 will host a day-long conference and 4-day exhibit marketplace devoted to helping the technology community navigate the circuitous transition from paper currencies to digital.

“New challenger banks and banking as a service are pressuring traditional banks to make mobile, consumer centric banking a priority,” shared Robin Raskin, Living in Digital Times Founder and Digital Money Forum Producer. “In the world of cryptocurrency, the purists are meeting a new breed of tokenized products that want to be equally at home, on Wall Street and in Crypto Alley.” Raskin adds, “Conversation will lay the architecture of a new Internet, one that’s more decentralized and more tokenized - it’s going to affect every part of the technology ecosystem and we can’t wait to be a part of the discussion at Digital Money Forum 2020.”

On the fintech side of the agenda, Andrew Morris (Former Director of Content for Money2020), will curate the conversation that explores what future banks will look like. EY will announce the findings of its ‘Future of Banking’ report kicking off a lineup of top banking contenders and HSBC’s, Jeremy Balkin, will show how robots are bankers, too.  Jason Mar’s Clinc will offer voice enabled banking and Will Graylin’s OV Loop will look at how messaging communities enable finance. Jim Kearney’s Point B is set to look at natural language, bots and AI in banking; UneeQ Digital Humans will showcase its humanoid bank teller, and Karen G. Mills, Harvard Business School, will lead a session exploring how fintech can empower small business owners.

On the crypto side, Digital Money Forum will kick off with “The Libra Effect: Facebook’s Dive into Cryptocurrency shine a Spotlight on the Issues” with speakers Michael Casey, Chief Content Office of CoinDesk, and emcee of the Digital Money Forum who will interview Dante Disparte of the Libra Foundation. Additional sessions include “Want to invest in crypto, but too scared?”- If so, learn from the best, Matthew Roszak (Bloq), Michael Terpin, (Transform Group) and Jonathan Johnson (Medici Ventures and Overstock).

Digital Money Forum 2020 will also look at the three big obstacles to adoption of cryptocurrency: regulatory, technical and privacy vs. trust through the eyes of industry leaders. Speakers include: Decred, Perkins Coie, MakerDao, Splend, Digital Chamber of Commerce, Uniken, One World Identity and CLEAR, to name a few.  The day-long conference wraps-up with Larry King, noted newsman, who will close out the day with a look at how blockchain goes beyond finance to restructure all enterprises.

If you’ve got only one story to tell at CES, the future of money, will be the one that impacts us all.
